Mini Morris

Icelandic Ponies

WORKSHOPS

Thursday 18 June 2026

In June we’ll be heading to the dramatic landscapes of Iceland, inspired by William Morris’s travels across the island on Icelandic ponies. These small but mighty horses carried him over mountains, rivers and lava fields — and now little makers can create their very own pony to “ride” around the Gallery.

Children will explore textures, colours and imaginative movement as they craft a playful pony friend perfect for galloping games and adventurous storytelling.

Mini Morris sessions are now DROP IN ONLY. FREE. Donations welcome.

As this can be a messy session, please wear or bring old clothes. Aprons are available. All sessions include the craft activity, singing and a snack to take away.
