We’re thrilled to be taking part in The Triumph of Art in Trafalgar Square on Saturday 26 July, a major event by artist Jeremy Deller to mark the National Gallery’s bicentenary.

Join us at the William Morris marquee from 11-4pm, where we’ll be running activities in collaboration with young people from Waltham Forest, who’ll be working with the Gallery team as ambassadors and William Morris experts for the day. Visitors will be invited to explore objects from the Gallery’s collection up close, take part in workshops, ask questions, eat apricots and discover more about Morris’s own relationship with Trafalgar Square. We’ll also be participating in a special parade at the Square at 11am.

In partnership with Future Formed. Through mentoring, professional guidance, and first-hand industry experience, Future Formed inspires and supports Waltham Forest residents aged 16 to 30 in exploring opportunities within the creative industries.

‘The Triumph of Art’ is the grand finale of a nationwide series of events shaped by communities and partners across the UK. Jeremy Deller has drawn on Trafalgar Square’s rich history as a site of celebration, protest, and creativity—bringing together moments of joy, art, and activism in a truly unique gathering.
