Eighteen months after the Rana Plaza collapse in Bangladesh, what has changed in the way fashion is produced and sold? What can industry, governments, campaigners and consumers do to help improve working conditions?

The panel will include Sam Maher, Senior Campaigner at Labour Behind the Label, a UK-based campaign group that support garment workers' efforts worldwide to improve their working conditions. Sam is Director of Policy for Worker Safety and has just returned from Bangladesh.

Clare Lissaman is an expert on ethical sourcing and supply chains and is involved with the Ethical Fashion Forum and SOURCE. Clare also runs her own ethical clothing business, Arthur & Henry.

Artist Alke Schmidt's latest exhibition Tangled Yarns  explores issues around "unfair fashion" and the politics of the textile industry past and present. In developing Tangled Yarns Alke was strongly influenced by the Rana Plaza disaster
