A talk by Lucinda Hawksley, author of Lizzie Siddal, The Tragedy of a Pre-Raphaelite Supermodel. She will look at the female artists, models and muses who lived in and around the Pre-Raphaelite movement. The talk will explore what it was like to be a woman in mid-19th-century London and how the lives of the women who moved in the artistic world differed from those of other Victorian women.
