Arts Award and Beyond Primary Awareness and Artsmark Event
This short course explores ways in which Arts Award can be delivered successfully in primary schools both by teaching staff and arts practitioners. We will look at Discover and Explore as well as how Bronze can be introduced for Years 6 post SATS as an effective transition project. We are also combining this session with details about the Artsmark process and the benefits that schools derive from applying for this award to recognize quality provision in the arts. The session begins with Registration and refreshments at 4.00pm and will finish at 6.30pm. £20 per school, booking essential! Trainer: Yolanda Guns, Arts Award and Artsmark moderator.
