Visiting the Gallery

Arrangements for Covid 19

The Gallery will reopen for pre-booked socially distanced vists on Tuesday 18 May. We hope to be able to offer limited covid-safe self-led visits to schools from mid June onwards. If you are interested please email wmg.schoolbookings@walthamforest.gov.uk  with your requirements.

For alternative online sessions  please check out arts and crafts activities on our Learning at Home page and in the Teachers' Resources section. There are a number of 'How to' artists videos on printmaking and drawing activites linked to the displays on the William Morris Gallery Facebook page - Search for Family Day videos. We are sorry we cannot offer Live virtual sessions from William Morris Gallery staff as our programmes undergo review.

Members of William Morris Gallery’s regular team of freelance artists can be available to come into schools to deliver arts and craft/printmaking workshops around a William Morris theme or stream these virtually. Schools can contact artists directly and make independent arrangements with them to book a workshop. Costs will be around £150 for a half day; £250 for a full day. Contact Anna Alcock of Inky Cuttlefish Studio on anna@annaalcock.com.

We hope to pick up Schools programmes again fully in the Autumn Term. Please subscribe to our Leaning Maiiling list to ensure you get the latest updates.
