National Storytelling Week - Family Day: Cinderella
For National Storytelling Week 2021, we've been inspired by Edward Burne-Jones's Cinderella tiles. Use the tiles to create your own play, pantomime or story - or use our script - and make your own crown to use as a prop. Activity devised by Scribble and Smudge.
Holly Jolly Wreath For Christmas
Bring some festive cheer into your home by making your own Christmas wreath. There are a limited number of free materials kits available from the Gallery, with all you need to complete this activity.
Family Day: Mermaids and More - make your own mermaid
Video instructions for this activity, devised by artist Esther Neslen, will be posted on Facebook, Youtube and Instagram on Saturday 28 November at 1pm. Inspired by William Morris and Edward Burne-Jones's mermaid design from our exhibition Works In Progress, the video includes two Caribbean merfolk stories by professional storytelle Wendy Shearer.

The activities are inspired by our exhibition Works In Progress.
