  • 17:00 - 21:00
  • £5 for entry to the event WMG Late: An evening with the Pre-Raphaelites, inlcuding music, Close-up gallery talks and tasters from The Gin Garden (cash bar available).

Please note that this is for the EVENT ONLY and does not include entry to the talk: Pre-Raphaelites - the first modern art movement by Tate curator, Alison Smith.

At this special late night event we celebrate the work of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood of artists with whom William Morris was intimitely connected. You will be able to explore the displays and exhibitions in a unique evening atmosphere and enjoy some of the amazing entertainment on offer.

The Gallery is pleased to welcome The Gin Garden to WMG Late. The London-based mixologists will be transforming the space into a botanical wonder of sensual delights and tempting you with their Pre-Raphaelite cocktail menu (alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails available). Indulge yourself with one of their unique recipies inspired by Pre-Rapaelite art made with locally sourced ingredients and find out about its' health giving properties.

Music was central to Pre-Raphaelite sensibilities, live harp music will float through the galleries during the evening.

If you would rather find out more about the Pre-Raphaelite artworks in the collection, Close-up gallery talks will look at some of our favourites in more depth.

Our tea room and shop will be open during WMG Late for gifts and treats.
