Artists, craftspeople, musicians, actors and filmmakers make the Gallery and its collection come alive at our WMG Late events and performances. We also take part in a variety of local and national celebration events such as Open House, the Big Draw and the E17 Art Trail.
Talks, tours and discussions
We offer a selection of talks and tours for everyone from first-time visitors to dedicated enthusiasts. Join a curator for a free introduction to the current exhibition or delve into an interesting topic in more depth with our talks programme.
Artist in residence
This brand new programme will give visitors the opportunity to encounter the work of local, national and international artists while they work in the Gallery. Look out for activities and events featuring our current artist in residence.
The new Gallery has lots to offer families, with hands-on activity points in the galleries and a regular, free programme of things to see and do for families of all ages. An action-packed Family Day is held at the Gallery on the last Saturday of every month. Creative Kids encourages creative learning for families with children aged 5 and under.
See the Events Calendar for details of the next Family Day and Creative Kids or go to our Families page to plan your visit to the Gallery.
Alongside our talks, tours and special events we are working with groups of older people in Waltham Forest on a project to involve them in the Gallery.
